Reidun Schlesinger

Reidun Schlesinger, originally from Belgium, has played Irish Harp since 1989, and cross-strung chromatic harp since 1999. Classical harp training in Liège, Belgium, and Harp and Musical Education studies at Musikhochschule Aachen, Germany. Teaching activity: regular workshops for Irish harp in Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and France; teaching Harp & Irish music in Kerry via Killarney School of Music and privately. Performing: played with several folk/trad bands in Belgium (Amorroma/Les Tisserands, CD & DVD projects) & Germany. Living in Kerry/Ireland since 2008. Duo with uilleann piper Barry Lynch. Duo “AMALA” with Paul de Grae on guitar, Amala’s CD “resonance” (harp & guitar music from Ireland & elsewhere) available now.
